An old beach holiday house was in desperate need of a face lift. Mission brown was the colour of the day. Internally every wall and ceiling was painted to lighten the house. A new kitchen was installed.

The bathroom was turned into a bathroom/laundry. An ensuite was created with a fully glazed wall in the shower recess and privacy screen installed externally.

One wall of the family room was moved to the eave line, creating valuable space internally. All the windows and sliding doors were replaced with easy to maintain aluminium.

A large entertaining deck was built with a pergola above, stainless steel wires were used define the handrail, continuing the open look from inside the house onto the beautiful natural garden.
